Our complete line of print and apply labelers can apply printed labels at any angle using tamp, tamp-blow, or air-blow technology. Print and apply labeling systems automatically print information on blank or pre-printed labels and apply them on to packaging, products, boxes or crates, for example. Print and apply labeler applications include: Identification and tracking (tracking shipments and inventories) and radio frequency identification (RFID) tags as well as variable information (printing information such as product ingredients, content, weight, etc.).
All of our print and apply labelers are designed for rugged use and virtually maintenance-free operation and of course, are compatible with all O.E.M. print engines. Air-Blow Line of Print and Apply Labelers / Print and Apply Labeling Systems
Our line of Label-Aire air-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems offers a flexible alternative to the traditional wipe-on technology. An electric fan creates a vacuum to hold the dispensed label accurately onto print and apply labeler's grid. At the precise moment the product passes under the grid, the air-blow print and apply labeler's pneumatic solenoid provides a controlled blast of compressed air to apply the printed label onto the product.
Label-Aire's air-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems adjust for different label sizes by altering the pattern of the air blast so no change parts are required. Since our air-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems apply labels without making product contact, it is a practical solution for labeling food or fragile products. With their ability to pre-dispense labels, there is no need for air-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems to match the speed of the product. Air-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems offer users flexibility because labels can be positioned either inline of or even at 90 degrees of product travel.
Tamp-Blow Line of Print and Apply Labelers / Print and Apply Labeling Systems
Label-Aire tamp-blow line of print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems share many of the attributes of the air-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems, but this configuration is most effective at applying small labels (0.25" .1.0") very accurately. The venture vacuum of the tamp-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems holds the dispensed label onto a pad that is sized to the label. The pneumatic tamp cylinder of the tamp-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems moves the pad toward the product while the pneumatic solenoid provides a controlled blast of compressed air to apply the label onto the product.
There are a number of advantages to Label-Aire's line of tamp-blow line of print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems. For example, these tamp-blow line of print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems are very easy to set up, the vacuum pads are interchangeable to adjust to different label sizes, and tight or small target areas such as recessed panels on products can be reached. Since labels are pre-dispensed by the label applicator, there is no need to match the speed of the product or the conveyor. Also with tamp-blow print and apply labelers / print and apply labeling systems, while the tamp-blow labeling applicator's speed is slower and a change pad is required, this label applicator's configuration enables labels to be positioned from either inline of, reversed of, or at 90 degrees of product travel.
